I look up and see the pain in her eyes
As she tells me how she feels
Tears are streaming from her eyes
And dripping down her cheeks
I want to hold her in my arms
And wipe away her tears
I want her to know that I will always be there
By her side
She looks up into my eyes
As I look down into hers
A tear rolls down her face
A tear of joy
Joy to be with me
Is this what love feels like?
I see her laughing with her friends.
And she turns and smiles at me
My stomach is doing flips and cartwheels
Is this what love feels like?
When she throws her arms around me
And I pull her close
She knows that I love her
I know it to

okay, I've been trying to write this poem for a couple days. I finally finished it today
I wrote it from the point of view (or rather my made up point of view) of the guy I like. This is the first happy poem that I have actually wrote. I'm not that great at writing happy stuff. comments always appreciated. |
